Overview:
Sterling Commerce Managed Services include Business-to-Business (B2B) integration solutions, allowing trading organizations to interact with each other across a secure network. Long considered as only appropriate for large organizations, Sterling Commerce Managed Services provide organizations of all sizes with the ability to trade and collaborate electronically via various methods. A particular strength of the Managed Services is that through its ownership by AT&T, Sterling Commerce has the financial strength to fund innovation, distribution, and support, and also has full control of, and therefore responsibility for, the applications and infrastructure that run the service. Current service availability exceeds 99.9%, and Sterling Commerce is endeavoring to increase this to 99.999%. Although trading partners of all sizes can use the service, primary customer organizations are typically those with annual revenues of US$100 million and above. Evaluation would involve a discussion with Sterling Commerce on the requirements of specific organizations.
